Lumen 7 Media Limited ("Lumen 7 Media", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through lumen7media.co.uk (the "Site"), why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

Lumen 7 Media Limited is a UK social media, PR, marketing and advertising agency, and is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 17429650, and our registered office is 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. 2. What we collect
We only collect data that you choose to give us. This includes:
- Free Social Presence Audit request form: your name, email address, business name, business website (if provided), the public social profile links or handles you enter (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, other), and anything you tell us about what you'd like to improve.
- Direct contact: anything you send us via the "Contact" link or a mailto enquiry, such as your name, email address and message content.
To prepare your audit, a member of our team reviews the publicly visible content of the profiles you give us. We do not log in to your accounts or access private analytics. Your audit is sent only to the email address you provide and is never published or shared.
3. How we use it
- To review your public social profiles and prepare and email you the free audit you requested.
- To respond to enquiries and, where you've asked us to, follow up with a tailored growth plan or quote.
- To improve our services and this Site.
We will not add you to a marketing mailing list without your consent. After sending your audit we may contact you once or twice to ask whether you would like help acting on it; you can tell us to stop at any time.
If our form cannot be sent automatically, it may instead open your own email app with your details filled in. In that case we only receive your details if you choose to send that email.
4. Legal basis for processing
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, we process your data because you have asked us to do something for you (prepare your free audit or respond to your enquiry) and on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, following up on audits you have requested and improving our services. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
5. Sharing your data
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Site and our business, only to the extent necessary, or where required by law. These include:
- Formspree, which receives audit request form submissions and forwards them to our inbox.
- Hostinger, which hosts this Site.
- Our email provider, which stores the emails we send and receive.
Some providers may process data outside the UK (for example, Formspree is based in the United States). Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.
6. Cookies
This Site does not set tracking or advertising cookies. If you use the light/dark background switch, your choice is saved in your own browser so the Site remembers it; this is not shared with us. Our promotional video is embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode, which means YouTube should not set cookies unless you play the video. If you do play it, YouTube's own privacy policy applies. If any of this changes, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
7. Data retention
We keep enquiry and audit data only as long as needed to respond to you or fulfil a legitimate business purpose, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
8. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, and to object to or withdraw consent for its processing.
